Gaia:This text presents a reflection on the concept of culture understood as process and structure. It starts with questioning the culture as an entity, a definition that is supported by the supposed idea of its "autonomy". The approach that emerges here is found in evolutionary biology, cognitive science and phenomenology fruitful fields to pose culture as logical-emotional structure from which it is possible to understand, although without denying it, beyond these paths linked to its conception as a system of power. The conception of the culture that results after this reflection supposes the procedural articulation between the historical-social, the biological and the cultural.
