Beskrivelse
Summary:This article deals with the teaching profession not only within the ethics of care, as understood by N. Noddings, but also as a public service and privileged scenario of applied ethics. Caring for other citizens and for real men and women is a key in ethics and a pending demand in the developed societies of our time. Therefore, it is necessary to open up public discussion on promoting caring teachers so that teachers and students acquire the skills to listen and address the interests and needs of the individuals who use education services. The methodological procedure used in the article can be none other than critical hermeneutics. It has been used to detect shared ethical principles and civic values of caring which are so needed in social life.
