The transport values obtained are 384 and 10.56 m3 d–1 towards the estero mouth in April and August respectively, and a value of 110.4 m3 d–1to Punta Banda in October. Con datos de oleaje registrado mediante un arreglo de dos sensores de presión durante abril, agosto y octubre de 1985 en la barra del estero de la Punta Banda, B.C., se. calcula el transporte neto de sedimento paralelo a la playa. Los resultados revelan una zona de estudio expuesta a marejadas del sur durante abril y agosto, y a marejadas del norte junto con olas locales en octubre. Los valores obtenidos de transporte son de 384 y 10.56 m3 d–1 en dirección a la boca del estero durante abril y agosto respectivamente, y de 110.4 m3 d–1 hacia Punta Banda en octubre.
