A total of 102 species of 75 genera were identified, 60 of which were gastropods, 37 pelecypods, 4 polyplacophores, 1 scaphopod and 1 aplacophore. The greatest diversity was found in El Soldado Lagoon and the lowest in La Cruz Lagoon. Se llevó a cabo un estudio sobre la fauna malacológica de cuatro lagunas costeras del estado de Sonora, México: El Sargento, Santa Rosa, La Cruz y El Soldado. El estudio comprende aspectos de composición específica y diversidad en las cuatro lagunas, así como observaciones cualitativas de ocho especies de importancia comercial: Chione gnidia, Chione fluctifraga, Chione californiensis, Chione subrugosa, Anadara grandis, Megapitaria squalida, Megapitaria aurantiaca y Glycimeris gigantea Se identificaron 102 especies de 75 géneros, de las cuales 59 fueron gasterópodos, 37 pelecípodos, 4 poliplacóforos, 1 escafópodo y 1 aplacóforo. La mayor diversidad de moluscos se presentó en El Soldado y la menor en La Cruz.
