There is in use information of the National Survey of Urban Employment and of the National Survey of Occupation and Employment of the National Institute of Statistics, Geography and Informatics (inegi). The impact is analyzed on the wage income of variables of offer of work as labor experience and human capital. In contrast, variables of demand are in use as size of company, sector of activity and other attributes of sociodemographic character. The results indicate that the wage differences by degree of education are marked, but they are also by type of establishment and economic activity. El objetivo de este documento es estimar dos modelos econométricos sobre la determinación de los salarios en México para el periodo 2000–2009. Se utiliza información de la Encuesta Nacional de Empleo Urbano (eneu) y de la Encuesta Nacional de Ocupación y Empleo (enoe) del Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática (inegi). Se analiza el impacto sobre los ingresos salariales de variables de oferta de trabajo como experiencia laboral y capital humano. En contraste, se utilizan variables de demanda como tamaño de empresa, sector de actividad y otros atributos de carácter sociodemográfico. Los resultados indican que las diferencias salariales por grado de escolaridad son marcadas, pero también lo son por tipo de establecimiento y actividad económica.
