Although the findings reveal acceptance, stigma and misinformation still prevail, which may lead to discrimination. La investigación es una aproximación al problema de la exclusión hacia las personas con discapacidad por parte de estudiantes de Instituciones de Educación Superior del país. Se elaboró un instrumento basado en la asociación de palabras para luego utilizar la técnica de redes semánticas naturales a una muestra de 519 estudiantes de nueve Instituciones de Educación Superior en México para conocer las expresiones sobre el tema de la discapacidad empleando una palabra generadora de uso cotidiano. Aunque los hallazgos evidencian aceptación aún prevalecen los estigmas y la desinformación que pueden llevar a la discriminación.
