In order to adjust to the needs of society and students, university education should offer an integrated development model, which, in addition to technical and cognitive competences, also plans for the inclusion of personal and moral growth. Una de las funciones esenciales de la universidad es la capacitación profesional. El ejercicio correcto de una profesión requiere no sólo el dominio de competencias técnicas, sino también el desarrollo de valores éticos. Para adecuarse a las necesidades de la sociedad y a las de los alumnos, así como a las demandas del empresariado y a sus criterios de empleablidad, la formación universitaria ha de ofrecer un modelo de desarrollo integral que, junto a las competencias técnicas y cognitivas, contemple, de forma planificada, el crecimiento personal y moral.
