This article presents and analyzes the process of designing and implementing strategies to solve problem situations within the framework of a general chemistry course. La formación por competencias de profesionales asume múltiples dimensiones, dentro de las cuales se puede identificar clara y reiterativamente la administrativo-metodológica. Dicha dimensión implica el aprendizaje de la planeación y de estrategias de acción, es decir, formación estratégica; la cual puede lograrse a través de los proyectos de aula. Este artículo presenta y analiza el proceso de diseño e implementación de estrategias para solucionar situaciones problema, en el marco de un curso de química general.
