Este artículo examina los determinantes socioeconómicos de la asistencia escolar y de otras actividades (trabajo, por ejemplo) de la población entre 15 y 18 años en la Argentina entre los años 1997 y 2009. En particular, interesa saber cuán importantes son cada uno de ellos y compararlos entre sí, se utilizan datos de la Encuesta Permanente de Hogares que cubre las áreas urbanas poblacionalmente más importantes del país.
