There are large inequality gaps between the states in Mexico that have persisted over time despite the fact that the data indicate that education has become more equal in all of the country’s states. El presente trabajo aborda el estudio de la desigualdad educativa en México, en el caso de sus entidades federativas. Para abordar dicho análisis se utilizó una adaptación de la técnica estadística conocida como el Coeficiente de Gini. Los resultados muestran la existencia de marcadas asimetrías en materia educativa.
