Riassunto:Although some answers are being found to address the challenge of integrating disabled people into the workplace, there is still a long way to go. This paper, developed at a special needs education center by way of a First Vocational Qualification Program (or PCPI in Spanish), presents the design for a person-centered job placement plan. The research aims to offer a model of good practices that will enable other groups and education centers to continue working to improve their students’ integration into the workplace. Lastly, it offers a reflection on what PCPIs have meant up to now for people with disabilities or at risk of social exclusion, and teacher responsibility in light of the new educational model proposed by the new Spanish education law.
