Sumario:This paper analyzes how full-time, part-time and hourly-contract teachers in the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) use Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in their academic activities. In the quantitative and correlational research, a 26-item questionnaire was administered to 71 teachers. The results obtained show that hourly-contract teachers between 25 and 38 years of age tend to make greater use of ICTs. It was found that the most widely used technologies by teachers were e-mail, multimedia presentations and webpages in general, whereas forums, virtual laboratories and video-conferences were the least used.
