Based on the theories of Sociology of work and development, we propose a macro-structural methodology, cutting descriptive, based on the comparison of the behavior of local labor markets, during the period 2000-2010. The case studies were the States of Baja California and Puebla, representative of two models of regional development: a border and non-border one. As main result, it was identified in both contexts a process of precariousness of the labor market, but responded to particular dynamics and affecting different populations. Although, in this work is accomplished to meet more fully the effects of the economic crisis and industrial relocation in the territory, the study could be expanded to show the limitations of other models of development. 2018-06-13 2021-06-03T03:38:30Z 2021-06-03T03:38:30Z info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion https://ref.uabc.mx/ojs/index.php/ref/article/view/661 10.21670/ref.1811011 https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12930/6897 spa eng https://ref.uabc.mx/ojs/index.php/ref/article/view/661/1406 https://ref.uabc.mx/ojs/index.php/ref/article/view/661/1407 https://ref.uabc.mx/ojs/index.php/ref/article/view/661/1408 https://ref.uabc.mx/ojs/index.php/ref/article/view/661/1409 https://ref.uabc.mx/ojs/index.php/ref/article/view/661/1432 https://ref.uabc.mx/ojs/index.php/ref/article/view/661/1434 https://ref.uabc.mx/ojs/index.php/ref/article/view/661/1435 https://ref.uabc.mx/ojs/index.php/ref/article/view/661/1436 Derechos de autor 2018 Estudios Fronterizos text/html application/epub+zip application/xml application/pdf application/xml text/html application/epub+zip application/pdf Baja California y Puebla, Mexico, 2000-2010 Baja California y Puebla, México, 2000-2010 Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Estudios Fronterizos Revista; Vol. 19 (2018) Estudios Fronterizos; Vol. 19 (2018) 2395-9134 0187-6961
