The physical phenomenon derived of the photoacoustic effect are employed in the determination of thermal properties. In the present work, a review of the phenomenon, its development, applications and ways of improving the photoacoustic signal is carried out. An experimental setup of photoacoustic signal is built and instrumented it works with variable and constant frequency. First, the design, G-code and fabrication of the optic table is realized in a 3 axes CNC; then, the experimental setup communication is established through the LabView software. Finally, probes were developed, the obtained results are consistent with the reported in the literature. The obtained prototype was compact and practice. It is possible, due to the elimination of the opto-mechanical components used in traditional systems. Los fenómenos físicos derivados del efecto fotoacústico resultan de suma importancia en la determinación de propiedades térmicas. En el presente trabajo, se realiza una revisión del fenómeno, su desarrollo, aplicaciones y formas de mejorar la señal fotoacústica. Se fabricó e instrumentó un sistema experimental de lecturas fotoacústicas, con capacidad de hacer pruebas en un rango de frecuencia variable y constante. Primero, se realizó el diseñó, código G y fabricación de la mesa óptica en una maquina CNC de 3 ejes; luego, se estableció la comunicación del sistema experimental, utilizando la herramienta virtual LabView. Finalmente, se realizaron pruebas, los resultados obtenidos son consistentes con lo reportado en la literatura. El prototipo obtenido resulta ser muy compacto y práctico.
