The third generation of solar cells, sensitized with dye (DSSC), offers a wide field of opportunity for research. In this work, the effect of the structural modification of the semiconductor (TiO2) and the doping with Neodymium in the cell performance is analyzed. In the semiconductor, it was chosen to carry out the synthesis of the same on the conducting glass (FTO), which would later conform the photo-anode, with a one-dimensional structure (nano-crystalline rods of titanium dioxide in rutile phase), recent publications Have reported the advantages to transport electrons from them. It has been decided to dope the rods with one element of the lanthanide group, Neodymium, having two purposes, on the one hand, to increase the injection of excited electrons, and likewise, to decrease the recombination rate of the electron pair hollow within the cell. 2020-08-15 2021-06-03T03:52:30Z 2021-06-03T03:52:30Z info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion Research article Articulo de Investigación https://recit.uabc.mx/index.php/revista/article/view/ccm1 10.37636/recit.v124548 https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12930/7003 spa https://recit.uabc.mx/index.php/revista/article/view/ccm1/45-48 https://recit.uabc.mx/index.php/revista/article/view/ccm1/html https://recit.uabc.mx/index.php/revista/article/view/ccm1/CCM1 Copyright (c) 2018 Daniel Ramírez Rosillo, Balter Trujillo Navarrete, Víctor Verjan González, Rosa María Félix Navarro, Edgar Alonso Reynoso Soto http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 application/pdf text/html application/xml Universidad Autónoma de Baja California REVISTA DE CIENCIAS TECNOLÓGICAS; Vol. 1 No. 2 (2018); 45-48 REVISTA DE CIENCIAS TECNOLÓGICAS; Vol. 1 Núm. 2 (2018); 45-48 2594-1925
