The procedure developed is based on the recommendations made by the ISO 9300 Standard for the estimation and calculation of the discharge coefficient "Cd" of the critical flow nozzles. The calibration was carried out at the National Metrology Center (CENAM) with the use of national gas flow standards. The standards used or testers are of the type: Piston and Bell, with a measurement range of 0.05 to 50 L / min, and from 50 to 2840 L / min, respectively. The method used to calibrate the nozzles was by direct comparison with the standard. En el presente trabajo, se tiene por objetivo mejorar la medición de flujo de gases por medio del uso de toberas de flujo crítico (Critical Flow Venturi Nozzles), para ello, se describe el procedimiento de calibración de dos toberas de flujo crítico con diámetros en la garganta de 0.022 y 0.088 pulgadas. El procedimiento desarrollado tiene como base las recomendaciones que hace la Norma ISO 9300 para la estimación y cálculo del coeficiente de descarga “Cd” de las toberas de flujo crítico. La calibración se realizó en el Centro Nacional de Metrología (CENAM) con el uso de los patrones nacionales de flujo de gas. Los patrones utilizados o probadores son del tipo: Pistón y Campana, con un rango de medición de 0.05 a 50 L/min, y de 50 a 2840 L/min, respectivamente. El método utilizado para la calibración de las toberas fue mediante la comparación directa con el patrón.
