The purpose of this work was to find out the opinions of the university students who took a computer-aided course that used the Internet for turning in assignments, taking exams and receiving tutorial advice. The differences of opinion were analyzed, considering socioeconomic variables, and variables of academic performance. The results indicate that the students favor the use of this kind of educational support, and that there were no important differences of opinion. En México, recientemente, se han empezado a utilizar una variedad de apoyos didácticos en línea para impartir cursos formales en la educación superior. No obstante, poco se sabe de la percepción de los estudiantes al respecto. Este trabajo tuvo el propósito de conocer la opinión de los estudiantes universitarios al ser expuestos a un curso con el apoyo de Internet para entregar tareas, realizar exámenes y recibir asesorías. Se analizan las diferencias de opinión considerando variables socioeconómicas y de desempeño académico. Los resultados indican que la opinión de los estudiantes favorece la utilización de este tipo de apoyos educativos y que no hubo diferencias importantes en su opinión.
