Izvleček: | To evaluate the growth of our journal, Ciencias Marinas, over the years since its inclusion for indexing in 2 major international databases, we performed a joint analysis of 8 bibliometric indicators: impact factor, source normalized impact per paper (SNIP), CiteScore, SCImago Journal Rank (SJR), cites per document, total cites, percent international collaboration, and h-index. In general, 6 of the 8 indicators suggest that growth for Ciencias Marinas can be qualified somewhere between satisfactory and good. The other 2 indicators, SNIP (1999–2017) and SJR (2010–2017), did not show significant changes for the time period analyzed. |
