This research focuses on Aragón, and in particular on companies operating in the dependent care sector, and aims to examine the state of Dual Vocational Training in the “sociocultural and community services” occupational category, from the perspective of participating companies; identify the facilitators and limitations of this system; and show the main impacts of dual Vocational Training on participating companies. A quantitative methodology was employed, based on an electronic questionnaire. The results show that companies find Dual Vocational Training to be positive and satisfactory, and that it is not too costly and offers a way to recruit and help train professionals. La Formación Profesional Dual en España tiene una implantación reciente que poco a poco se va afianzando. Este estudio se centra en Aragón y en concreto en las empresas del sector de la Atención a las personas en situación de dependencia. Los objetivos de este artículo son: analizar la situación de la Formación Profesional Dual en la Familia de Servicios Socioculturales y a la Comunidad en Aragón desde la perspectiva de las empresas colaboradoras; identificar los facilitadores y las limitaciones de este sistema y, por último, mostrar los principales impactos propiciados por la Formación Profesional Dual en las empresas colaboradoras. Se adopta un enfoque metodológico de carácter cuantitativo mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario electrónico. Los resultados evidencian que la Formación Profesional Dual es positiva y satisfactoria para las empresas, no supone demasiados costes y es una manera de reclutar y ayudar en la formación de profesionales.
