The importance of designing rhythmic educational programs for the development of intercultural competence in different educational contexts is discussed. En la presente investigación se evaluaron los efectos de un programa de educación rítmico-musical sobre el desarrollo de la competencia intercultural en Educación Primaria. Se aplicó un diseño cuasi experimental, con medidas pretest-postest en 646 niños de Educación Primaria. Los análisis estadísticos mostraron diferencias significativas en el grupo experimental, en todas las variables analizadas: conocimientos, valores, actitudes y conductas. Se manifiesta la importancia de diseñar programas de educación rítmica para el desarrollo de la competencia intercultural en diferentes contextos educativos.
